Have Meaningful Summers - 11th GRADE

Your summers are your opportunity to volunteer, travel, join a swim team, work or take some special mini-classes such as SAT prep courses or Essay Writing for College.

Scholarship judges and admission directors often ask how you spend your summers.  A student who only hangs out at the pool with friends will pale in comparison to one who uses his or her summers in the ways mentioned above.

If any grades were less than par, ask your counselor if you need to change any of your planned courses for your senior year.
