Trustees Scholarship- Provides full tuition plus fees- requires nomination by high school principal plus a separate application and essay. Boston University Admissions - Trustee Scholar Program

Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship- Full tuition scholarship for four years, awarded to academically gifted students with proven leadership abilities, a strong commitment to social justice and a record of community involvement.

Scholarship winners continue their commitment to service at Boston University. All are required to complete a minimum of 100 community service hours each year in conjunction with BU's Howard Thurman Center, the hub of multicultural life on campus. The center supports student organizations, sponsors events and promotes ongoing conversations about the common ground shared by all. In addition, recipients have the opportunity to live in the Common Ground House, one of BU's specialty residences.

MLK Jr. Scholarship requires nomination by mentor or advisor plus an essay on a specified topic.

Alexander Graham Bell Scholarship for Engineering- A full four year scholarship for engineering students. To apply, indicate on the admission application your intent to be considered for this scholarship. You must also submit a separate essay.

School of Education scholarship- A full four year tuition scholarship for education majors. Apply by submitting the admission application plus a supplemental essay on a specified topic.
