Scholarships and grants for NC
residents-
North Carolina offers need-based and merit-based funding for NC students.

A student must file a FAFSA application in order to qualify
for need-based aid.
Academic Common Market- This state
participates in the Academic Common Market, meaning that residents of
this state are eligible to attend universities across the South (16
states) and only pay in state tuition if they pursue certain majors.

Student Programs for more details. FL, NC and TX only participate in
this waiver program at the graduate school level.
