Academic Common
Market- This state participates in the Academic Common Market,
meaning that residents of this state are eligible to attend universities
across the South (16 states) and only pay in state tuition if they
pursue certain majors. Visit www.sreb.org and click on SREB Programs, then
Student Programs for more details.
FL, NC and TX only participate in this waiver program at the graduate
school level. Kentucky residents can use their scholarship
awards for KY Education Excellence Scholarship for schools/programs in
the Academic Common Market.
