State Programs- According to the Delaware Higher Education
Commission’s website, the Higher Education Commission administers 23
state-sponsored financial aid programs and 8 private scholarship
programs to help Delawareans continue their education after high
school. Applicants for all
state-funded programs must be Delaware residents and U.S. citizens or
eligible noncitizens.

by an asterisk (*), you must complete the Common Merit
Application. These programs include:

2009, on DHEC's secure Student Account Access site at https://www.doe.k12.de.us/high-ed/student/login.aspx
. First-time users must establish an
account and provide a valid email and mailing address before proceeding
to the application.
Academic Common
Market- This state participates in the Academic Common Market,
meaning that residents of this state are eligible to attend universities
across the South (16 states) and only pay in state tuition if they
pursue certain majors. Visit www.sreb.org and click on SREB Programs, then
Student Programs for more details. FL, NC and TX only participate in this waiver program
at the graduate school level. Search for colleges & scholarships by
