California has a number of scholarships and grants
that are designated solely for California residents. Review
them in detail at http://www.csac.ca.gov/doc.asp?id=33. They also have
special programs for students of nursing, law enforcement and for
members of the National Guard.
Attend college out of state for less! This
state is part of the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) , which is a
program of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education
(WICHE). Students who are residents of WICHE states may enroll at
participating two- and four-year college programs outside of their home
state at a reduced tuition rate.
WICHE states include: Alaska, Arizona, California,
Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota,
Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming. Find out more at
